Viziato Pro

Viziato Pro is the app's subscription. It unlocks the full ten-day forecast; without it, the app shows the first day of the forecast. Viziato Pro also turns on the Popular Dive Sites map layer and allows the range of the map colors to be set in the app's Settings under Map Colors.

• Restoring a purchase. A subscription can be restored after the app is reinstalled or on another device signed in to the same Apple Account. On the Map tab, tap the map tools button (the three dots at the top right), then the Settings button (the gear icon), then tap Restore Purchases in the Subscription section. The same button appears at the bottom of the Viziato Pro screen.
• Managing or canceling. Viziato Pro renews automatically until it is canceled. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. To change or cancel one, open the iPhone Settings app, tap the Apple Account name at the top, then Subscriptions, and select Viziato; the same list is available from the account page in the App Store app. A subscription must be canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to stop the next renewal, and Viziato Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refunds. Apple processes all payments, and VIZIATO LLC cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests are made to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Data and Privacy

• No account. Viziato has no user accounts. The app does not ask for a name, email address or password.
• Location. Location access is optional. When it is allowed, the phone's position is shown on the map and is used on the device only; it is not sent to VIZIATO LLC. Location access can be changed at any time in the iPhone Settings app.
• Saved spots. Favorites and drawn areas are stored on the device and synced through the user's own iCloud account, so they appear on other devices signed in to the same account. VIZIATO LLC has no access to them.
• Deleting saved spots. On the Favorites tab, swipe left on a spot and tap Delete, or open the spot and tap Delete Favorite. To remove every saved spot at once, tap the sort button at the top left of the Favorites tab and choose Delete All Spots. A drawn area is deleted by swiping left on it and tapping Delete.

Forecast Basics

• Coverage. The forecast covers coastal waters worldwide between 60° N and 60° S, within roughly 150 km of a coast. It does not cover the open ocean.
• Updates. The forecast is updated once a day. The time of the model run in use is shown in the app's Settings under Last Model Run.
• Range. Each forecast extends ten days ahead.
• Units. Visibility is the distance that can be seen horizontally through the water, shown in feet or meters. The unit is set in the app's Settings under Visibility Unit.
• Offline use. Forecast data is downloaded to the phone, so the app works without a network connection once a forecast has been downloaded.
