Map data

The Viziato app ships map databases derived from OpenStreetMap, available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Machine-readable copies of those files, byte-identical to the ones in the app, are available here free of charge:

• land.pmtiles — coastline/land polygons (PMTiles, ~28 MB)
• land_mask.png — land/water grid
• tz_index.png and tz_zones.json — time-zone lookup (timezone-boundary-builder)

The visibility forecast is a derived product. It is computed daily from the sources below, each of which requires the credit given here as a condition of use.

Aerosol optical depth from the CAMS global atmospheric composition forecasts, which reach five days ahead; beyond that the forecast carries no aerosol term.
